As a Content Developer/Writer you will create content for our Accounting online homework solution and play a key role in shaping our online tools to best serve students and instructors alike. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education; a deep understanding of accounting practices; creative ideas on how to reach, engage, and retain students; and demonstrably outstanding writing skills.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Write, review, and edit online teaching materials for high school and undergraduate college accounting courses

• Collaborate with senior content developers as interactive tools for teaching accounting are developed

• Be familiar with our current content to advise the sales and support teams on any content-related questions

• Assist students and teachers by answering content-specific questions

Basic Qualifications Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting

• Current, or recent, experience teaching or tutoring courses in accounting

• Demonstrated ability to write effective and engaging instructional materials

• Excellent knowledge of grammar and command of the English language

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• Computer savvy with ability to quickly pick up technical skills

• Bright, hard-working, flexible, dedicated, and team-focused self-starter

• Must be flexible and able to adapt to a fast-paced, rapidly changing work environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Accounting

? Editorial / writing experience

? Experience working with distributed teams and offsite colleagues

? Familiarity with HTML and/or XML
